The great thing when you opt for our Berrua campsite is that you’ll be staying on the coast, halfway between Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The perfect location if you want to explore the diverse landscapes and tourist spots of the Basque Country.
Another advantage? You won’t have to choose between the ocean and the mountains, because the region offers both within just a few miles of each other. And be sure not to miss the most beautiful Basque country villages, such as Bidart, Urrugne, Espelette, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Sare, Ainhoa and Ahetze. Delve into the area’s fascinating history and culture.
And why not venture to the other side of the border? In under 45 minutes, you can be in San Sebastian! The ideal opportunity to discover its white sandy beach and the old city, and then sample the pintxos, the local tapas!
Because, yes, a camping holiday in the Basque Country is also a chance for a culinary journey of discovery. Axoa, piperade, Bayonne ham, Espelette chilli peppers and the traditional Basque cake… a mouthwatering experience awaits!
